[Charlotte, NC | Pittsburgh, PA] —Joerns Healthcare and Brother’s Brother Foundation (BBF) proudly announce the successful collaboration and significant impact of their recent donation of medical beds to Hôpital Albert Schweitzer Haiti (HAS). This joint effort has notably improved the dignity, comfort, and overall patient care at HAS, directly enhancing daily healthcare in Haiti’s Artibonite Valley.
Operating amidst significant logistical challenges and regional instability, HAS is a critical healthcare provider for more than 350,000 residents. With the beds donated by Joerns Healthcare and facilitated through Brother’s Brother Foundation, HAS significantly improved patient accommodations, comfort, and hospital efficiency, particularly within the pediatric malnutrition ward, where comfort and dignity are vital to successful treatment outcomes.
