Cair Rails

Risk Management Side Air Bolsters
Use CairRails to mitigate risk and to provide your patient with a safe, secure healing environment.
Joerns is concerned about patient and caregiver safety. Our proprietary CairRails risk management air bolsters offer a bilateral side bolster solution designed to address healthcare’s growing concerns of liability in relation to patient falls and entrapment. Features and Benefits:
  • On demand inflation and deflation to enhance safe resident care and transfer
  • Patented contoured design provides recess for ease of ingress/egress
  • Reduces gaps in bed systems to help protect against patient falls and entrapment.
  • Provides a boundary of the sleep surface and keeps patient away from the side rails and toward the center of the mattress
  • Allows caregiver to decide when added protection is required by using simple toggle switch
NOTE: Side Rail and Entrapment Notification: An optimum bed system assessment should be conducted on each patient by a clinician or medical provider to ensure maximum safety of the patient. We recommend the assessment be conducted within the context of or in compliance with all state and federal guidelines related to restraints and bed system entrapment.
