The Joerns® 530 bed was developed to address key caregiver concerns and resident safety issues such as maneuverability, restraint-free safety, regulatory compliance and an extensive travel range.

• The extensive travel range of 8 7/8" - 32" provides flexibility for various care activities. The low 8 7/8" height keeps the resident close to the floor, which will help to reduce injury severity in case of a fall. The high height of 32" makes the bed perfect counter-top working height, thus helping to reduce back injury to your staff.
• The revolutionary arched legs provide ultimate stability with a wide stance for equipment clearance. The toroidal sub-frame construction offers outstanding stability at any height.
• The therapeutic grid surface offers improved circulation and the best support for sleep surface. This surface allows the mattress to breathe, which in turn, reduces the growth of bacteria.
• The four section sleep surface is infinitely positionable and helps to reduce resident skin sheer.
• The optional staff control feature on the Joerns® 530 bed provides caregivers with an easy-access method of controlling bed operations. Located in the foot panel, the staff control panel features high-contrast, easy to read graphics. Functions can be individually locked out to limit resident operation with the pendant. Caregivers are also able to remove the pendant altogether for Alzheimer's and dementia residents, and still operate the bed using the staff control panel.
