Redefining the Care Environment – Remington Medical Resorts provides a hospitality-based approach to rehabilitation in their progressive care model. When completing a new facility in Texas, they worked with Joerns who held focus groups with Remington personnel, manufactured customized product, and brought the project in on budget and on time without losing track of the many important details.1
Redefining the Care Environment – CommuniCare implemented a major repositioning for an assisted living and nursing facility when converting into a post acute rehabilitation center. They introduced the medical spa model in the local community through working with Joerns Healthcare to customize the environment for the residents’ and community’s needs.2
Aging facility – Daybreak Venture saw opportunity when identifying buildings that had fallen in disrepair and in need of major upgrades. Not only did they work with Joerns Healthcare to design and implement an environment that residents and families will feel at home in, they instituted a culture change in their facilities. Daybreak Venture reported that a “middle of the road building” became their number one property with 95% occupancy.3
Creating a Community – Avante opened a state-of-the-art skilled nursing and rehabilitation center from the basis of a vacant property with an uncertain future. The collective Avante and Joerns vision transformed a blank canvas into a beautiful community with a neighborhood style that exceeds marketplace expectations. Joerns partnered with the Avante team to identity the right materials, colors and textures that complemented their superior healthcare products.4
